The water calls me Pisces Queen of Vanneau
The Tide molded me Femme, like the myths
The Currents lined me Mutt, like the wild
The moons have pulled me fouryears, like the seasons
The salt has tainted meBay silver dapple, like a scale
The sun has died them creme and onyx, like day and night
The pools has rained on me asVanneau, the mist and rain
The gods have granted me Tides and Currents
My Traits
Pisces' traits are undeniable and unstable, as they have been passed on through legends. She is said to be sly and secretive, with bursts of power when her faith is tested. She is said to not be trusted with anything from any other alliegiance, for she would blurt it out, as a fish is slimy. She tends to like to be to herself, to be alone, peace and quiet. But many have heard her murmurings as she does not stay quiet. Those that have met her trust her, and seem to be sworn to secrecy, though they swear not. She has her plans, and is not likely to give them away easily.
My Debt
If anything, her story is a lie. It was passed on through those who have heard it, and many are sure that most of it has been substituted and changed, but this is how it goes.
Pisces was born to her mother, a princess at the time. Her mother had gone off and shared too much time with a lowly subject, and in turn, had to share child with him. But she had the right to not tell anybody who the father was, as she was already in shame for not having a mate, but with child. The father knew of course, and visited frequently. But one day, when Pisces was young, innocent, and didn't know better, she accidently called him father. It was in public, and her mother was forced out to abandonment, left to fend for herself. It was great grief that she had to go too, for she eventually could not live without the warmth and milk of her dam. She grew to understand her powers, with her mother teaching her every step of the way. But seasons move on, and time ages, and her mother died of fatigue. For they had no permanent shelter, and scarce food being away from their homely waters. Pisces was forced to fend for herself, and find herself back. She eventually made it.. andon the way gained the trust of some of the loners in the Vanneau. She trained them up if her coming back did not succeed peacefully. She was terribly out numbered, but she knew that her secret living in one of the lowly harems was not enough for her. Her royal lines forced her to rule.
Sooner than she expected, one of the elders in a different harem spotted her, and recognized her. That specific elder was not to be trusted by any one, as it was a gossiper. The threat greatened, and the news had spread to the rulers. Pisces had to make herself known. She took that small, lowly harem, and brought them straight up to the lord. She demanded that it was not her fault that all her mother's faults were not her own. She demanded to be left in peace to live quietly in residance of her old home. The queen at that point decided enough was enough, and that she should stay. She was allowed back, but she had to prove her faith. There was a duel to be fought, and against her great-dam. They took to the battle field, and gave thei powers a test. They had similiar powers, but the techniques were in contrast. The queen used them in defence, and lashed out only when needed, yet Pisces had different training, from the outside world and her mother. She knew the tactics, and countered them with difficult moves. She would trick the queen by throwing a blow with water, but burst through with body and attack in physical strength. It was unheard of then, but it was not a rule that you couldn't. Pisces won, and demanded that she be put in a higher position. It was allowed, and she was a princess at last. Eventually she was heir, and took the throne after the queen had deceased. Many of the Vanneau had left, feeling that the fight was a fake, and that she didn't deserve the power. but she still had her ways, and now she is strong and powerful.
**Other:Her power(being more specific) is to be able to move water, when near it's sorce. She can make the tide move slower or faster, but she would be in a great deal of pain if she tried, and she can switch the way a current flows if she pleased, and if she trained for it.
