The statuesque dame moved silently through the hinterland, her ochre founders making not a sound. Dial lowered, her mocha orbs peered inquisitively from beneath honeyed threads. Nares flared wide, taking in the moist tangs of her surroundings, and searching for the slightest hint of other equines. She felt welcomed and at home in the timberland, for she had resided in a similar abience previously. Despite this, she felt somewhat distressed, apprehensive about what, or who, she would surely soon encounter.
Halting, Aydar fervently wished she could simply meld into the surrounding arbres. She was naturally gifted with the ability to alter the hue of the foliage, and could blend in with the woodland to the point of no destinction. But, having not yet met the ruler of these lands, she was unsure of the reaction she would receive for refashioning the realm. Uneasily, she aroused a meek cry, and waited, disquieted, for what was to come.

The land was empty and so was the heart of a young queen. The population in this land was growing, and yet know had come to support her cause, the cause for the power earth. It was strange how certain equines favored many things. For the equines not blessed with powers, it was darkness. For those blessed with, it was Vanneau as this world had dubbed it. The fae's greatest fear was that the earth equines would slip off the world and fail. Fail the war, fail her, and finally, fail themselves. This femme was always just a humble one, yet once she had come to power, she begun to just expect things to sort out themselves. Now, the she was slightly wiser, but no more successful. Would this really come to an end for her? The queen of these lands had always had dreams that would never be accomplished if none joined her reign. For one, the female had always wanted a mate, someone to love and get that in return. In fact, she was one of the few queens that craved that in her land. Her optimism was wanning, revealing that if she did not gain members soon then it might be time to flee to another land.

A great sigh of sorrow escaped the parted kissers of the huntress before her large mass of a bodice began to shuffle forward. It took a few strides before they lengthened into a full walk, which was much more comfortable than stumbling along blindly. Buckskin pelt flickered in between the distant trees as the golden suns rays filtered onto her. The rays felt so freshing as the great growing season came to its close. A trail of budding flowers seemed to grow as each pad lifted from the ground. Her delicate dial was held high in the air, giving her an air of importance, or maybe that was just her. Threads were restlessly following her bodice, ruffling in the soft breeze that rushed over her home like a slow paced brook. Ivory tinted much of her pelt, and yet, it seemed to give the fae an identity that many equines lacked. Hazel optics watched the earth fondly as her walk continued, undisturbed, perfect if you will.

Sage was a quiet queen, if you will. She silently ruled her empty lands and despite her lack of experience, she was proud of herself. The fae had never been able to keep a spot in a harem for very long. Many factors would draw her away from the already distant equus and eventually, she would get the boot and be on her own. It was satisfying to know that she was the one who could banish in these lands, and she wouldn't be getting the boot, regardless. Sage had spent to long on her own and was not willing to do so any longer. Anyway, when the words that were babling in her dial finally ceased, the lady found herself rounding a bend. Her senses finally came back to her, after being in her own world for a while, and was startled to find that she had quite literally stumbled into the path of another.

Before her, was, indeed a fae. Hazel spheres filled with an innocent curiosity. Then, Sage remember who she was and returned to an expression of delight and glee. Librums parted as she found lyrics escaping her maw. Ah, I guess this would be a good time for introductions. I am Sage, the lady of Tiera. She paused for a second, or for "dramatic effect" as many others would say, before continuing Of course, I have a feeling that I know your intentions, but I don't want to be playing the guessing game throughout this conversation, so these are my two questions: Who are you and what are your intentions here? She finished. Of course, the dramatic effect wasn't as dramatic as she had expected, but Sage was never much of a humorous equine and yet at this moment, a humorous expression was plastered on her maw and deep in her hazels. Sage was more of the equine that liked to get right to the point. So, she did, no surprise? I didn't think so.

Aydar stood quietly, anxiously awaiting the coming equine. She had sensed her presence previously, and was sure she was coming for one reason, and one reason only. If she managed to survive this first social encounter, perhaps she would finally manage to find an accepting realm. For a fleeting moment, she pondered her decision to join a herd once more. If she had been rejected for her mother's unrespecting actions, and her own impure bloodlines, why would the beings in this land feel any differently?
Turning, she was on the verge of fleeing from her possible future, when she sensed the approaching femme just around the corner. Realizing it was too late to depart, she unwillingly rooted to the soft forest floor. A beam of sunlight shone through the aerial foliage, sparkling against her russet scarfskin flecked with gold.
Deep mocha orbs emanated a wistful, soulful feeling. They widened as she saw an unusually colored fae step into her path. The fae had a regal presence, and radiated newfound confidence. She expected to be intimated by this expectant being, but was surprised to feel a wave of placidity wash over her. Listening intently to the gently spoken words, she felt soothed by their whimsical resonance.
It is an honor to be of your noble acquaintance. Vocales stringing together a serious of lyrics in a melodious tone, she quietly replied.
They have titled me Aydar of the woodland. I am bestowed with the ability to change the chroma of woodland leaf*ge. I have come to request acceptance in your domain.

The humorous expression stayed upon her kissers for quite sometime. She was honored to be treated with such respect, and yet at the same time felt foolish. I mean, yes, she was queen, but she seemed to be the type that enjoyed just being a regular equus. Her auditories relaxed and so did her muscles. Despite her confident posture, she was not so sure of herself. This was the first being she had approached in quite sometime. It seemed odd to think so, but Sage was one to keep to herself and rarely visited the neighbouring kingdoms to speak to Pieces or Aleyah. Sage was probably the loneliest of the three queens and the one whom craved to escape it the most.

Despite the calm spheres and laid back attitude, Sage was actually jumping with excitment within her bodice. I mean, for once another earth equine had come to join her. The fae before her wasn't the expected Vanneau that was just lost while looking for the Vanneau lands. A smile crossed her librums as delight shone through her mood. Many equines, at this time, wouldn't exactly except her as a queen, because she seemed like a child in many ways. Sage was genuinely blissful about everything, regardless of what it was. Then again, she probably was a child compared to the older and wiser equus. At four years old, she hardly knew the world, just as she hardly knew herself. Regardless, her life would be an interesting adventure, and many equines wouldn't mind being apart of it.

Anyway, through this whole encounter, Sage was picking her lyrics quite carefully. I mean, she was the lady of these lands, but she really had no right to insult anyone, even if it was an accident. Which it often was. Finally, she spoke. You don't have to be so formal with me. She paused after speaking, unsure of whether she should continue or not. I mean, this was the first equine she would be accepting into her harem. Considering her options, she decided that a casual approach was in order and finally spoke, how could I refuse company? Of course I'd grant you acceptance into this domain.

- Not much time, gonna be a short post! -

Aydar slowly relaxed as the queen before her replied. The tension gone, she realised she felt relieved to find someone so willing to accept her. It seems lineage means nothing here, and is of no value. Perhaps the future set before her wasn't quite so unappealing afterall.

My apologies. she spoke slowly, unsure of what to say. I'm grateful for your kindness.

Lowering her dial, Aydar assumed a more relaxed position. One hind leg thingyed, harks swivelling attentively, she waited passively for the lady's reply.
